Non-Warranty Repair Service
Non-warranty repair service is for items not explicitly covered under the product's 12 month warranty. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to the product or malfunctions caused by:
Abnormal conditions of operation such as operating the product in an atmosphere of high H2S concentration. Although pneumatic controller valve controls are designed to withstand high H2S concentrations when equipped with the Stainless Steel hardware option, electronic assemblies are not specified for use in a high H2S gas environment! The product should be located in a well ventilated area to avoid costly H2S gas related repairs.
Neglect in closing the product's front door cover, resulting in rain water related damage to internal mechanical and electrical parts or assemblies.
Misuse in using primary (alkaline for example) batteries when a solar panel is installed. Solar panel charging current will cause severe primary battery leaking, resulting in acid related damage to the electronics and other assemblies.
Battery problems of any kind are not covered under product warranty! Since OKC Products does not have any control over the type or condition of batteries users may use, problems or damage caused by leaking batteries, batteries having insufficient charge, or batteries of mixed type and states of charge will not be repaired or serviced under the warranty service program.
Please keep in mind that product problems or malfunctions which are caused by faulty equipment connected to the product, but was not supplied by OKC Products, is not covered under the product warranty service program. This is particularly true for supply gas filters, drip pots, pressure switch gauges, plunger arrival switches.
If Any Failure Occurs
1. Give full details of the alleged difficulty and include the product's Model Number and Serial Number. On receipt of this information, service data or shipping instructions will be forwarded to you.
2. On receipt of the shipping instructions, forward the product, transportation prepaid. The product will be serviced at an OKC Products, Inc. repair facility and returned transportation collect.
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS FOR WARRANTY SERVICE OR REPAIR
All shipments of products should be made "Best Way" prepaid. The product should be shipped in its original container or in any suitable container that is rigid and of adequate size. The product should be surrounded by at least two (2) inches of excelsior or similar shock absorbing material and shipped prepaid to OKC Products, Inc., 585 N. 1st Street, Berthoud, CO 80513.
